  1. Great job and great post. I struggle with this all the time…no sketch or tech spec ever seems to contain enough detail to show me how the thing will really work. I recently made a pleather skirt and the fabric was so much softer than I thought and now it is
    it looks more gladwrap (saranwrap) than glamorous.

    1. Yea, it is very hard to show all of the details in a sketch. I use it as a rough sketch just to see how it may look. Sorry your skirt didn’t come out as you would’ve liked. I suggest doing more research on fabric because the type of fabric you use can make or break a look. I had to learn the hard way! 😉
