There are two things that can usually put me in a good mood after a long day. Okay, maybe there are more than two things but let’s keep it clean. 😉
After a long day of sewing, blogging, popping up, or whatever I had to do that day; there’s nothing like a tall glass of red wine or a couple of saki shots. Instant relaxation. The second being, exercise. Saying that working out reduce stress isn’t just a cliche, it is real. There are times when I’ve gotten into a huge fight with my fiancé. But after taking a 45 minute run, I forgot all about what the argument was about.
What does a girl do when you can’t reach for the bottle or throw on some gym shoes?? Here are 7 things you can do that will make you feel good without a buzzing or sweating.
Get outside and enjoy the sun
Did you know that the sun can help to combat depression? Vitamin D has been found to help combat depression. Rays from the sun generate vitamin D. As little as 15 minutes can do a wealth of good for you!
Get a hobby
Taking a break from your everyday activities is just what the minds needs sometimes. Learning something new can be fun. Painting, crocheting, something to break up your norm can be quite relaxing.
Give yourself a social media break
We all know that social media can be alot. I have gone onto my social media to give my followers an a quick update on my latest pieces. Before I know it, I’ve spent an hour scrolling!
Get some girl time
Spending time shooting the shit with your girls will give you some serious energy. Laughing, crying, giving advice or simply watching a movie will definitely make you feel good.
Wear lipstick
A bold lipstick will make anyone smile. Trust me on this one.
Retail therapy
How does the saying go, “Retail therapy is cheaper than a therapist” or something like that. Nevertheless, buying something makes me feel good. My bank account doesn’t like it. But it does do something to lift your spirits in a way.
Make Plans
Fill your calendars with things to do. Do a search for events in your city or cities close to your area and go for it. Having something to look forward to is always a good thing.
Now, there will be no excuse to be in a bad mood with this list. Do you agree? What would you add? Let me know in the comments…
Stay Fearless 💋
Great article! I love nature walks. I dance every day and it doesn’t feel like exercise: it’s so fun, great for the heart, bones and brain! I’m a certified fitness instructor and in my training I learned what I already knew–keep moving, find an activity you enjoy and you’ll stick with it.

So true! I tell people all of the time that they can find something active that they enjoy. That way, it won’t feel like it’s something you HAVE to do. Sounds like you have some great and fun ways to help you feel good. 😀
