The Serena Dress…Backwards

I make it my business (since it is my business) to wear every single garment and accessory that is available at BLB.  Maybe you won’t find every piece in my closet but its been tried on or worn for a day to see how it feels, at the the least.  It is so important to make sure that our bombshells are getting the best bang for their bucks.  It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it.  This research is one method used to determine if a product makes the cut to be sold at BLB.  But like most things, there are ups and downs.  Sometimes the products receives rave reviews and other times…least just say that the reviews are less than flattering.  Let’s not talk about the time the sleeves ripped on 3 tops in one day.  I’m talking the same style top, 3 different sizes and each one tore at the seams every time I bended my arms.  Needless to say that the top was never available at the boutique.  I am happy to say however, that this same fashion recon lead me to give the Serena Dress my certified bombshell stamp of approval…💯!

This beauty is made of a slinky material that feels great against the skin and never seems to get wrinkle.  Plus, this girl is a sucker for bold colors and prints.  However, what ultimately sealed the fashion deal of approval is the this beauty is perfect for those of us who appreciate a mix of good girl and bad girl styles.  And to get a chance to go with either (depending on your mood) is insane!  Allow me to explain further.  The dress has a keyhole in the front that will have all eyes on you whether you hit the town with your Bae or in search of a Bae.  Hello bad girl…😏

(Safety pin or cami optional. 😉)

I, for one, am all about a sexy dress but rocking the keyhole cutout isn’t usually the best style option when it’s time to be professional.   Of course you can wear a bra-lette underneath while wearing it this way.  But I wanted to change things up.  Fashionistas love versatility, don’t we?  So I decided to throw on a cami and slide the dress over it…backwards.  Yes, I said backwards!  Sounds crazy?  Find out what happened next…

Pairing the dress with a black lace choker and heels makes it a great Victorian-inspired look that will keep you stylish at a business meeting.

Oh, these billowy sleeves!  😍

Removing the choker and adding a leather belt completely changes the look.  Style Tip Alert: Wrap a wide belt around your waist to create a hourglass figure.

With the weather finally getting cold (here in Texas at least) it is the perfect time to break out the leather leggings.
