Irun Kiko: The Art Of Hair

Irun Kiko: The Art Of Hair

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending a pop-up fashion presentation entitled, Irun Kiko: The Art Of Hair, which was held at a contemporary arts complex in San Antonio called the, Brick @ Blue Star.  The event was given by Be Fashionable Sa.

Since the invite calls for, your most fashionable attire, I decided it was the perfect event to rock this all burgundy everything outfit.  This long sleeve sheer top, bra-lette, and trousers that have these really cute buckles on the ankles seems perfect for the occasion.  models wearing burgundy pants and burgundy sheer top blue labels boutique

After making a pitstop at the bar, we entered the room where the exhibit was held.

I found out that the technique used in the hairstyles involved sectioning the hair into plaits and wrapping then with sturdy string.  My cousin and I had the pleasure of having a great conversation with London-based artist, Juliana Kasumu.  Her photography wowed us !

Attendees were also lucky enough to shop the designs created by celebrity fashion designer, Reuben Reuel.  His inspiring, custom designs consisted on bold colors and prints.  His collection also had ultra flattering wrap dresses, A-line styles, super feminine & flirty skirts and more.
